Trafford Borough Network Christmas Cracker
The Trafford Borough Network (Stretford, Altrincham, Flixton and Trafford Met) is holding a Level 3 Open Meet (short course) at Sale Leisure Centre on Sunday 17 December.
This could be a great final chance to achieve those Lancashire County qualifying times!

National Arena Swimming League Round One
Stretford Swimming Team stormed to a fantastic result in the first round of the National Arena Swimming League in Darwen on Saturday.
The team all swam brilliantly to win the Division 2 tie by almost 50 points.
The final result was:

Head Coach Tom Pope was delighted with the result saying on Twitter (@TommyP_Coach): “So proud of how well everyone did! The ‘best performance in the last 13 years from SASC’ was the quote of the night!”

GM Autumn Meet final results
Stretford secured the Top Club award and a host of medals at the Greater Manchester Autumn Meet after another day of excellent performances on Saturday (7 October).
As well as 65% of races seeing swimmers beat their entry times, the team bagged a grand total of 18 gold medals, 12 silvers and 13 bronzes during the three-day meet at Wigan Life Centre against clubs from around the Greater Manchester area.
Reuben Rowbotham-Keating added to the team success by taking the Top Junior Award thanks to securing eight gold medals and six silvers.
Other medallists were Jake Christon (4G, 2S, 3B), Erin Hoyland (1G, 1S, 2B), Chiara Tommasello (2G), Kaitlyn Crosby (1G 2B), Lewis Crosby (1G 2S 1B), Luca Tommasello (1G 1S), Hannah Wang (2B), Grace Rowbotham-Keating (2B) and Ciaran Conway (2B).

GM Autumn Meet results
The swimming team had a great weekend at the GM Autumn Meet at the Wigan Life Centre.
Out of 127 swims, 87 resulted in swimmers beating their entry times. Several swimmers secured qualifying teams for the Lancashire County Championships and the North West Regional Championships. There were 10 gold medals, 10 silvers and 11 bronzes.
The team returns to Wigan on Saturday for the final day of the meet.

Water Polo update
Stretford water polo teams have continued their excellent form this season.
The U12s, who play in the Bolton and District league, have played 10, won nine and lost one, putting them top of the table.
In the last week they have enjoyed victories against Tyldsley away (15-7) and Warrington at home (28-5).
