Christmas Timetable
We hope you’ll be able to make a session or two. The timetable is via this link:
CANCELLED Training Sessions – Saturday and Sunday morning
Just a reminder, with swimmers and coaches attending the Burnley Bobcats gala this weekend, the training sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning are cancelled, but will return next week, 23rd and 24th October.
ALL training sessions in the evening this weekend will be held as normal.
Timetable from Wednesday 1st September
After a great deal of work with SSV and TL, we are at last returning towards a consistent timetable. Having published this to members in our newsletter w/e 27 August, the Club online Diary is now updated with the session times for swimming and water polo. Let’s hope that soon, other events will be populating the agenda, both competition and social.
Thanks to Lee, Fran, Tom and Committee members for constantly striving to have pool time as close to normal throughout the last 18 months.
Timetable: Summer Training
Now holidays are in full swing (are they, really!) here is the finalised timetable for the summer. We will have a break of course in August, in fact we stop on Thursday 29th July, whilst team members are at Rossall swim camp and return with a program from Tuesday 10th August. Good news for parents, not scheduled morning swims!
Have a great summer holiday and keep up the great training
Timetable Update – from w/c 24 May
Sadly, SSV have removed our access to the pool for Junior Dolphins on Wednesday evening. The only sessions currently available to JD are 6 – 6:45pm on both Saturday and Sunday. We are working to resolve this problem caused by SSV duplicating a booking with their Aqua Aerobic session.
Also to note some minor changes to sessions as highlighted in yellow – these sessions will start 5 min earlier AND with less than handful of people currently attending the Monday land training from 31st May, this session will be cancelled). Massive thank you to all of you that took part and enjoyed the many zoom sessions we held throughout lockdown.
New Training Timetable
With the Government announcement today that the lockdown release continues on schedule, attached is our new training timetable from next Monday 17th May. Senior Water Polo can at last return to the pool on Monday and Masters will join Thursday evening session for swimming. Both those sessions are for an hour and start at 8:15 pm.
Tonight’s newsletter for Members includes protocol summary for accessing and exiting SSV.
Thanks all for your patience whilst we get back to the next “normal”.

Training Sessions w/c 12 April & Club Code of Conduct
1st April 2021
It’s nearly time to get back in the water.
A new Health Questionnaire will be posted out to all members and must be completed before anybody is allowed to return to the water.
Covid safe protocol procedures will be resent and be in line with our previous rules – remembering also the need to have a mask on, when entering the building and all communal areas.
The proposed swimming timetable is also provided here, so you can start to plan your kit bag (though suspect it’s been ready to go for a while). For junior water polo, sessions will again be on a Saturday evening, starting 17 April between 7 and 9:15.
For senior Water Polo and Swimmers, sadly, the Government rules mean a return to Club training is still a little while off, scheduled for [not before] w/c 17 May.
Suggested Sets if swimming
From Tom and mostly targetted at the older swimmers, these sets may be useful if you have access during our closure, to a pool outside of Trafford.
