CHRISTMAS!!!

CRACKER…. Yes, whilst it’s still September (30th) it’s time to get the Trafford Borough Chritmas Cracker entry pack out there, for you all to read and review.  Here is the entry pack: Christmas Cracker Open meet entry pack 2019

Stretford is again delighted to host this annual event, which this year is being held on Sunday 15th December.  The last opportunity for County consideration qualifying times!

Entries will open at 6pm on 30th October and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis (no entries accepted before that time).

Greater Manchester Autumn Meet – Days 1 and 2

The first weekend of this season’s GM Autumn Meet was a decent one for Stretford – almost everybody set a new PB in at least one event, over 50% of swims were PBs and 10 medals.  Congratulations to

Gala Results: Trafford Dev Gala, Trafford Early Bird, Central Lancs and M&D Final

Times from the two recent galas at Stretford SV are now available, plus galas at Altrincham and Sake.

Superb early season swimming and lots of new competitors saw nearly 100 new PBs set at the Trafford Early Bird Gala to go with the 80 medals (27 medalists:

Eva, Lily, Chloe, Eleanor, Holy, Scarlett, Tia, Marcia, Nina, Kimberlee, Francesca, Lyra, Grace, Genevieve, Lordes, Adam, Noah LT, Noah C, Alfie, Alex LH, Luqa, Alex E, Cameron, Reuben, Jake, Toby and Xander)

Well done to everybody in our team competing, Top 10 finishes everywhere.

A disappointing result in Central Lancs League, with a narrow defeat to Oldham in our first event of the new season, but still some excellent swims. Central Lancs times are here CLInterSO130919

CoSSC Gala

A super end of season gala in Broughton. Loads of medals (7 gold; 12 silver; 10 bronze) and over 50% new PBs. Well done everybody, enjoy our awards party tonight and the summer.

Central Lancs Intermediate League

Close racing last night in our Double Header against both Wigan Wasps and Atherton & Leigh SC.  The team just missed out to Wigan (143 v 175) but took the win against A&L (191 v 127).

Thanks to both sets of opponents and their supporters and of course Central Lancs for the superb competition.
