National Arena Swim League

Round 1

Awesome result from the team last Saturday. 5th place may mean a relegation dog fight in R3, but it was wonderful to see the whole team supporting each other and determination in the pool scrapping for every point.
As a Club, we’re punching above our weight in Premier Division, but it showed the coaching and hard training is paying off.

Overall after the first round we’re 10th overall and will be up against it in R2 (November) v Stockport, Southport, Salford, Stoke, Wrexham, Winsford and Hirwich.

GM Autumn Meet – Days 3 and 4

A successful second weekend in Wigan with over 68% PB times.

A good group of medals over both weekends from 14 medalists.  All six medalists from the first weekend picked up further bling along with Reuben, Alex C, Adam, Noah LT, Kymberlee, James, Ben and Toby R.

Trafford Borough Christmas Cracker

CHRISTMAS!!!

CRACKER…. Yes, whilst it’s still September (30th) it’s time to get the Trafford Borough Chritmas Cracker entry pack out there, for you all to read and review.  Here is the entry pack: Christmas Cracker Open meet entry pack 2019

Stretford is again delighted to host this annual event, which this year is being held on Sunday 15th December.  The last opportunity for County consideration qualifying times!

Entries will open at 6pm on 30th October and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis (no entries accepted before that time).

Greater Manchester Autumn Meet – Days 1 and 2

The first weekend of this season’s GM Autumn Meet was a decent one for Stretford – almost everybody set a new PB in at least one event, over 50% of swims were PBs and 10 medals.  Congratulations to

Gala Results: Trafford Dev Gala, Trafford Early Bird, Central Lancs and M&D Final

Times from the two recent galas at Stretford SV are now available, plus galas at Altrincham and Sake.

Superb early season swimming and lots of new competitors saw nearly 100 new PBs set at the Trafford Early Bird Gala to go with the 80 medals (27 medalists:
