Club Champs 2019 – Entry Confirmation
The confirmed entry list for this year’s Championships is now available below:

Over 100 extra swims this year compared to 2018. Thank you to our wonderful desk crew for their support in promoting the event and all our members taking part. Next task is to finalize volunteers (let us know if you’re available on any day) and press gang parents to compete on 1st December!

Wow! More than 50% of swims this weekend were PBs- a super gala which we hope you all enjoyed. Excellent and well done everybody for racing so well.

NASL NW Premier League – R2
Another superb effort from the team in R2 sees us just miss out for Champioship Final by a couple of places, finishing 10th. That means we face the prospect of the relegation swim off. Top ranked team is Wrexham, we’re seeded no 2 and we’ll be up against City of Stoke (Cosacss), Blackpool Aquatic, Iske of Man, Trafford Metro, Horwich and Pioneer 70.

City of Salford Gala
A targeted meet for a small number of swimmers and was great to have Ehi gain a Lancs County time, along with plenty of medals.

National Arena Swim League
Round 1
Awesome result from the team last Saturday. 5th place may mean a relegation dog fight in R3, but it was wonderful to see the whole team supporting each other and determination in the pool scrapping for every point.
As a Club, we’re punching above our weight in Premier Division, but it showed the coaching and hard training is paying off.
Overall after the first round we’re 10th overall and will be up against it in R2 (November) v Stockport, Southport, Salford, Stoke, Wrexham, Winsford and Hirwich.

GM Autumn Meet – Days 3 and 4
A successful second weekend in Wigan with over 68% PB times.
A good group of medals over both weekends from 14 medalists. All six medalists from the first weekend picked up further bling along with Reuben, Alex C, Adam, Noah LT, Kymberlee, James, Ben and Toby R.

An update PB listing is now published, after this weekend’s conclusion to GM Autumn Meet.
Also updates are the Age Group Records.
So the latter becomes easier to find online, they are now kept with the PB listing.

Stretford is again delighted to host this annual event, which this year is being held on Sunday 15th December. The last opportunity for County consideration qualifying times!
Entries will open at 6pm on 30th October and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis (no entries accepted before that time).
