M&D Program A Semi Final
We traveled once again during May along Chester Road to Sale Leisure, this time to complete in the Manchester & District Program A semi finals against Trafford Metro; Glossop; Warrington.
The team stepped up, a number of whom had not competed at this level before, to finish second in the event. Unofficial score on the night:

Trafford Development Gala 5.05.17
An exciting night of swimming at our pool on Friday, in the second Trafford Development Gala of the year. The lead changed hands throughout the event; we lead early on, picked back the lead mid-way from Trafford Metro, but were ultimately overhauled after a couple of DQ’s and Speeding Tickets by Flixton Swim Team. A fantastic effort by all our swimmers and feedback from the other clubs suggests it is the best gala of the year so far. Well done. Swimmer times are below and the result was:
Flixton Swim Team 76; Trafford Metro 67; Stretford 64; Altrincham 60.

An exciting gala on Thursday night at Leigh Sports Village. Whilst we were short of younger boy swimmers, so could not pick up points in the relays and the odd individual race, the team performed superbly well, just being beaten by 11 points: 165 v 154

Congratulations to our team on Saturday competing at the M&D Program B Final at Bolton One. The team placed 3rd overall and 2nd in the Boys event against:
Trafford Mets (overall winners); Horwich; Glossop; Altrincham; Worsley; Bolton; Atherton & Leigh

“The Best Rossall Yet!”
Well, let’s be honest, somebody always says that and it was another fantastic week at camp, with all swimmers putting in massive effort at each of their nine swimming sessions throughout the week and the daily gym sessions.
Thanks to everybody, swimmers coaches and volunteers for your support over the week. Results from the gala appear below.
It was great to hear the reaction from the Rossall camp, when telling them Zoe had been officially appointed as our Assistant Coach. 51 happy campers.

A small number of Stretford swimmers entered last weekend’s CoSSC spring gala, with some excellent results, almost everybody hitting at least 1PB (see the times attached) and medals for:
